You can sign up, verify your email, set up your business and materials, and buyers can create up to 15 quotes per calendar month, all without entering payment details. Only quotes your buyers create count toward the monthly limit. Quotes your own team makes don't count. A current plan or plan trial is required to collect customer payments.

For new subscribers, the trial starts when you sign in and complete subscription checkout, not when you create your free account. Existing subscribers manage their plan through billing settings. Checkout requires a payment method and shows your next charge. Cancel in billing settings before the trial ends to avoid a subscription charge. After the trial, your chosen plan renews monthly or annually unless canceled.

AutoQuote3D does not charge a transaction fee on your customers’ payments. Stripe’s payment processing fees are separate and depend on your Stripe account and payment methods. Subscription prices on this page are in US dollars (USD).

A business is a separate shop in your account, with its own materials, pricing, quoting widget, Stripe account, and orders. Starter and Professional include one business. Service Bureau includes up to two, with up to 5 users in each.

Yes. Manage your plan in your account’s billing settings. Review the effective date and any prorated charges shown in the billing portal before confirming a change.

Cancel at any time in your account’s billing settings, with no cancellation fee or advance notice requirement. Paid-plan access continues through the end of the current billing period. You can also contact support@autoquote3d.com for help.

Files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and protected with hashing and row-level access controls so only the relevant customer or business can access them.

AutoQuote3D supports multiple currencies including USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP, with additional currencies added over time based on customer demand.

Yes. Stripe is used to process payments from your customers, and AutoQuote3D guides you through connecting it during setup.

Yes, on the Professional and Service Bureau plans. Approve trusted B2B customers by email or domain, set their net terms, and they see a “Pay by invoice” option at checkout. The invoice is emailed automatically and the order moves forward while you wait to get paid. You can also convert any quote into an invoice from the dashboard. Pay by invoice is not included in Starter.

Yes, on the Professional and Service Bureau plans. Rewrite every quote, order and status email, choose which part details customers see, and edit any email as HTML and CSS with Liquid, the template syntax Shopify uses. Preview with your real quotes and orders and send yourself test emails before they go live. Starter sends the built-in AutoQuote3D emails.

All plans include email support. Professional targets a response within 24 hours and Service Bureau within 6 hours.

Yes. Share a hosted quote link without a website, add a link or button to your site, or embed the widget using the iframe code in your dashboard. Your site builder needs to support custom HTML for embedding.

Customers can upload STL, OBJ, STEP (.step/.stp), and 3MF files up to 150 MB. STEP and 3MF files are converted automatically before pricing, so CAD users can quote straight from their native exports.

AutoQuote3D generates instant quotes for FDM/FFF, SLA, SLS, MJF, and metal (DMLS, SLM, binder jet) printing, each with its own configurable materials and pricing model.

Yes. Action Chat is an AI assistant built into the dashboard for reviewing orders, setting up pricing, and analyzing performance. AutoQuote3D is also an official Claude connector and an official ChatGPT app, so you can add it from Claude's directory or from ChatGPT. Cursor and other compatible assistants still connect the same way, with your approval required for important changes.

Yes. The public REST API lets you read quotes, orders, part files, and business analytics from your own systems. Create an API key from your dashboard settings and generate a client from the published OpenAPI document.
